Layered & Nanoporous Materials Group is an experimental synthetic group working in the area of layered and nanoporous materials. Group research interests concern the chemistry of phyllomorphous materials (in particular clays, pillared clays, organo-clays and carbon layered structures), hybrid organic-inorganic nanocomposites, carbon nanostructures (carbon nanotubes, fullerenes, graphene, graphene oxide), mesoporous materials, as well as, biocatalysts and magnetic nanoparticles.
